I am Jeremy L. Crowe. I have an A.A. in English from Jackson State Community College, a B.A. in English & Foreign Language from Lambuth University, and I will begin an M.A. in Romance Languages in the fall of 2008 at the University of Memphis. My poetry has appeared in The Forked Deer at Jackson State Community College and The Coffeehouse Papers at Lambuth University.

My influences are (in no particular order): Anne Sexton, Paul Monette, Allen Ginsberg, Fyodor Dostoevsky, William Faulkner, e e cummings, Langston Hughes, William Carlos Williams, Martin Luther King Jr, Henry David Thoreau, and Adrienne Rich.
My favorite poet is Lindsey Butler.
